M07 'Sugar Rush' [Key Factory]

M07 is an LA-born, Spain-based live artist and producer whose work was shaped by a decade in Kyiv. Named after the Kyiv-Warsaw highway, the project brings together vocal-led electronic music, hardware-driven performance and film. The SIGNAL live concert film and forthcoming EP present the darker, distorted side of that work. Captured live in an abandoned circus in Vietnam, the film premiered to a sold-out audience at the Royal Tuschinski Theatre in Amsterdam during ADE on 22 October.

'Sugar Rush' is a pop-edged melodic house single with a dark edge: acid-tinged synth arpeggios, hooky vocal phrasing and a story about appetite, power and leaving before the crash. Written by M07 with Deza, 'Sugar Rush' is the second single from the SIGNAL cycle. A live version also features in M07's SIGNAL live concert film.
