Mason’s big tech house chug drives this one… crispy drums, a deep burbling bass that gets the head nodding, rolling bongo drops and the spoken word “In The Underground” vocal sizzling away on top, imploring you to “get lost in the underground…”.
Tough Break delivers a cracking remix on this to add a different flavour to the release. The Australian producer ups the tempo, kicking things off with tough drums and big synth hits that bring a driving energy right from the start. Blurring the boundaries between tech house and techno, this remix thumps, all the while still retaining the original’s quirky spoken word vocal… Nice work TB!!!
Drop the remix if you like things with more energy, or the original for a more traditional tech house sound, and you can’t really go wrong.
