Theory Of Cycles is a 12 track conceptual album by Pure Shade.
Depicting separate life periods and state of mind, with an emphasis on emotions. Theory of Cycles was crafted
from small melodic sketches, creating an emotional state throughout the narrative. The album as a body
of work consists of three concepts from on going battle of disorders, disclosure of innerstate and Individual
moments of the lived experience, which revolve in cycles like the seasons.
Pure Shade expresses a unique understanding of textures and emotions from classical emotive composition to
vicious and detailed sound design. Based in Russia, Pure Shade takes inspiration from classical Russsian music
and other foreign classical pieces discovered from the use of his fathers vinyl player as a child
