NVADRZ & ALIAS - Let Me Move [NIGHTMODE]
NVADRZ & ALIAS are popping back into the frame with their follow-up single for [NIGHTMODE, "Let Me Move," a high powered drum & bass track pleading for partygoers to put their phone back in their pocket.
Forming their alliance last year, NVADRZ & Alias is a joint project that fuses the convention-shattering stylings of the two solo projects on either side of the ampersand, concentrating their cutting-edge sounds into a dynamic output as a drum & bass duo. They are returning to NIGHTMODE to release their follow-up single.
"Let Me Move" is a jump-up DnB cut that tries to dismantle the phone-on-the-dancefloor epidemic with a critical message for crowds to recalibrate to an in-the-moment mindset. Its title serves as the main refrain, as the lyrics "please let me move" are looped and pitched-up with urgency as the track barrels through swinging brass notes, sequences of laser-laced mechanical grinds, rattling sub-bass patches, and a four-four bridge connecting the steppy groove. The release follows their previous single "Trumpet Dub" from April, which has pulled in more than 302k streams to date, and has been rinsed live by SOTA, Tantron, Ray Volpe, including radio support on BBC Radio 1.
NIGHTMODE, part of Insomniac Music Group, is founded by Twitch streamer and content creator Tucker (Jericho) Boner & Daniel Goudie (of Disciple Recs & Rare Breed)
