Duarte - Kontrol

Otherwise Records presents "Kontrol", the new offering from Rio de Janeiro producer Duarte. Rooted in Indie Dance, the track moves through elements of Minimal Deep Tech and Tech House, built around a dramatic tension that runs from start to finish and geared toward peak-time moments on the floor.

The track pairs firm percussive elements with a bassline that drives its rhythmic momentum, keeping the focus on dynamics and the robotic vocal. The release gets a fresh angle with a remix from Kolombo, head label of Otherwise, who keeps the core structure intact while reworking its dynamics through a spatial approach, expanding the track's possibilities within a club context.

"Kontrol" marks Duarte's arrival on the Otherwise roster with a release aligned to the label's current focus on Indie Dance. The track draws connections across different strands of dancefloor-driven electronic music, delivering a straightforward, groove-centered work built to travel among top selectors worldwide.
