Daniel Avery - Midnight Versions Part 1

Revered producer and composer Daniel Avery shares ‘Rapture in Blue' & 'Greasy off the Racing Line’ (Midnight Versions), deeper, darker reworkings of his latest singles from forthcoming sixth studio album Tremor (out October 31st via Domino). Speaking on the tracks, Avery explains: “For every tremor there’s a reaction. These are the Midnight Versions. Songs reimagined and sent directly into the night. Club edits aimed squarely at the strobe light.”

With ‘Rapture in Blue' & 'Greasy off the Racing Line’ (Midnight Versions), Avery offers another vivid glimpse into Tremor’s immersive world. Channelling every corner of his sound, Tremor is a bold and transportive body of work through euphoric shoegaze, submerged techno, ambient soundscape and industrial bliss, while remaining unmistakably his own. Across its widescreen arc, Avery welcomes an inspiring cast of collaborators including Mosshart, Walter Schreifels (Quicksand / Rival Schools), bdrmm, Julie Dawson (NewDad), yeule, Ellie, Art School Girlfriend, yunè pinku, and Cecile Believe.

Marking his debut on Domino, the album was mixed by Alan Moulder (Smashing Pumpkins, Nine Inch Nails) and David Wrench (FKA twigs, Frank Ocean), and mastered by Heba Kadry - each vital to the creative fabric of the record. A new live show will launch with Tremor, culminating at London’s prestigious Barbican on 8th November which sold out in a record 3 days.
