Megablast & Shadee - Beautiful

Sometimes it doesn’t take a new beginning, just the right moment. Megablast & Shadee feels less like a comeback than the continuation of a connection rooted in late-’90s Vienna, where hip-hop, electronic music, club culture and art crossed paths.

As Megablast, Sascha Weisz reached international clubs through Makossa & Megablast and releases on Kruder & Dorfmeister’s G-Stone Recordings. Shadee and the Aphrodelics took Vienna hip-hop beyond Austria with “Rollin’ On Chrome,” reaching the German charts, sharing stages with Jay-Z, Outkast and Rakim, and appearing at Helmut Lang runway shows in New York.

Now their paths meet again. Produced in Megablast’s Ibiza home base, their music moves freely through electronic music, hip-hop, UK garage, Afro-soul and downtempo. Tracks like “Beautiful” shift between raw energy and stripped-back elegance, leaving room for surprise and imperfection.

It’s music made to bring people together: on a floor, in a room, in a moment.
