Hel:sløwed – Coming Home [Dreamstate Records]

Dutch production pair Hel:sløwed releases their haunting single "Coming Home," coupling their own vocal work with a moody, dancefloor-pleasing trance groove.

Hailing from the Netherlands, Hel:sløwed is the pairing of seasoned producers Misja Helsloot and Michael de Kooker—with 35 years of experience shared between them—known for blending classic trance and progressive with the more subversive influences of techno. They are making their label debut on Dreamstate Records with their new single.

"Coming Home" marks their first foray at writing lyrics and utilizing their down vocal work. Emotional and soul-shaking, there's an enrapturing topline sitting at the core of the deep yet thunderous groove, propelled along by rippling synth leads, glimmering arps, moody atmospherics and sleek breakbeat drums. Hel:sløwed has an upcoming festival set at A State of Trance Rotterdam.
