Kenneth Bager feat. Le Bacoll - What's The Frequency Kenneth

The fabulous Mr. Bager is back with yet another balearic version of a classic rock tune. This time he has dug up the R.E.M.-anthem 'What's The Frequency Kenneth?" - a tune that for obvious reasons has been high on Kenneth's balearic reworks wishlist. Now the time has come, and alongside Le Bacoll, Kenneth has taken the song under carefull treatment with re-recorded vocals, a nice and groovy modern drum production, laid-back bongos, a heavy amount of dubby elements and of course R.E.M.'s signature distorted guitar hook generously scattered out over the whole production. This song should be an easy home run for any balearic DJ once the sun starts showing and groovy hang outs and dance parties re-emerge.

The song is released via Music For Dreams on the 6th of March - a beautiful early spring date which also happens to be the birthday of renaissance painter Michelangelo, Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour and of Mr. Kenneth Bager himself. His birthday wish is for you all to download the promo!
