Iranian producer Hamoon Nassaji has spent the past decade developing an electronic sound rooted in experimentation, detailed sound design and an open-ended approach to genre.

Drawing from the foundations of Detroit techno and classic house, Hamoon takes familiar elements — machine-driven grooves, hypnotic rhythms and melodic futurism — and refracts them through a contemporary perspective. Rather than reproducing those influences as nostalgia, he transforms them into something post-modern and timeless, balancing references to electronic music’s past with a distinctly personal vision of its future.
