Sweat It Out had its first ever release in February 2008 and just a few releases later (we were much lazier back then) on the 4th of April 2009, a very young, but very hungry, WAX MOTIF remixed OH SNAP. Not long after, he remixed KILLAQUEENZ and then finally on 5th of December, 2009, we did our first solo release with him with the CONGA JUNK EP.

So.... To call WAXXY a core part of the SWEAT story would be, at the least, an understatement. He's like the furniture - always been there - and through all our iterations - always someone we've wanted by our side.

When AJAX left us and we weren't sure what to do, not sure how to presume we knew what to sign without him, WAXXY stepped up and became part of the A&R consultation team - where we related on the nod of a few trusted - to make sure we didn't step outside of the beautiful lane that JAXXY had carved for us.

And here we are in 2025, and even though Waxxy's been producing for some of the biggest names in hip hop, like Ty Dolla$ign for example, he's still got time to make absolute club bangers with homies like KYLE WATSON - who also needs no introduction - having been at the top of the game for over 10 years now.

PUSH UP featuring SCRUFIZZER is exactly what we would hope for from this heavyweight collaboration... Ear tickling sound design coupled with a captivating baseline, chunky drums and a vocal full of schtick.
