Super Future – Technicolor [Bassrush Records]

Super Future brings his forward-thinking bass music into high-definition via his new 5-track EP 'Technicolor' via Bassrush Records.

A staple of Detroit's electronic music scene, Super Future is a low-end visionary always a few steps ahead of the curve. The trailblazing producer has put his name on an array of experimental bass music, using his guitar shredding skills and percussive instincts to weave between deep dubstep, downtempo, electronica, freeform, and more. He's returning to Bassrush Records to release his new 'Technicolor' EP, a collection of tracks he's been fine-tuning on tour for the past two years—collectively embodying the audiovisual spectacle of his immersive live show.

The release follows the lead single "Dark Star," which surfaced in early March. It finds itself in the best of company, as the low-end genius kicks down four new productions, each with their own unique twist. From the dark and nasty swing of the lead cut "KING SH!T," to the womp-filled workout "Bounce," the blistering closing track "Want" and the brain-frying "Got Them Weak!" each bit of Super Future's latest body of work is arranged with the maximum level of futuristic and funky innovation that has propelled the project at the forefront of bass music in the first place.

From drawing massive crowds at major festival stages and sold-out concerts, to completely redefining bass culture on the West Coast, Bassrush has been at the forefront of bass music in North America since its inception in 2002. In recent years the brand has expanded its reach, grown its portfolio of national shows, launched a dedicated website (www.basssrush.com), and moved into new markets. In their mission to continually break new ground, Team Bassrush launched Bassrush Records, which will feature free releases from both established and up-and- coming talent in the drum n bass, dubstep, glitch, trap, and ever-evolving bass music genres.
