Witty Tunes returns to its Latin-inspired side with WT586, welcoming Madrid-based talents Nico Fleitas and Leön for the Oye Papi EP — a two-track package combining Latin rhythm, European groove, and a distinctly modern tech house edge.
Originally from Montevideo, Uruguay, and based in Madrid since 2021, Nico Fleitas has quickly established himself as one of the most promising emerging names in the Spanish scene. His DJ journey has already taken him to some of Madrid's leading clubs, including Fabrik, Bassmnt, LAB, Art, and Lula Club, while expanding across Spain to Ibiza, Barcelona, and Málaga, as well as international destinations including Amsterdam, Milan, and Rome.
He has shared the booth with artists such as Franky Rizardo, Andrea Oliva, Ben Sterling, and Stacey Pullen, while his productions have received support from Manda Moor, Art No Logia, and Ferra Black.
Joining him on the title track is fellow Madrid-based artist Leön, a Tech House producer whose sound draws influence from hip hop, soulful acapellas, and powerful low-end. As part of Danz Collective, spanning the Danz In label, Danzflor clothing brand, and Danzers events, Leön has developed a strong connection to the city's vibrant underground culture.
“Oye Papi” brings both artists together for a seriously groovy club cut, combining infectious Latin flavor, rolling percussion, soulful vocal elements, and a powerful bassline. The result is a playful yet effective dancefloor weapon with plenty of character.
On the flip, Nico Fleitas goes solo with “Cold”, delivering a deeper and more hypnotic interpretation of his sound. Tight drums, heavy groove, and atmospheric elements create a stripped-back club tool with a distinctly underground feel.
Latin roots. European groove. Pure dancefloor energy.
