Sam Dungate Returns to Ulybug Music with ‘Steel Drums’ 2026

Ulybug Music welcomes back Sam Dungate with a fresh 2026 rework of his club classic ‘Steel Drums’, originally released on the label in 2014.

The track that helped establish Sam as a serious producer gets a complete modern makeover, delivering tight drums, a rolling bassline and a catchy, groove-driven hook. Blending tech house energy with a feel-good edge, the new version is built for peak-time dance floors and big sound systems.

Since his original Ulybug debut, Sam has released further tracks on the label including ‘Large’ and ‘I Can’t Take’, while also collaborating with and remixing alongside Jonathan Ulysses.

Away from production, Sam has become a key resident DJ at Ibiza’s legendary O Beach Ibiza, performing throughout the summer alongside parties including Kisstory, La Fiesta, Forward Motion and Soul Heaven. He has also played at Hï Ibiza, Eden, Proper Fest and internationally in destinations including Thailand and Amsterdam.

The 2026 version of ‘Steel Drums’ has already been tested on dance floors at O Beach, Chinois and Hï Ibiza — and it’s ready to make its mark all over again.
