Fauxplay and Ranj Kaler - Free to Ride (incl. Lexicon Avenue remix) - Forensic

Forensic Records brings Fauxplay and Ranj Kaler together again on "Free to Ride," a melodic, groove-led collaboration built around evocative spoken vocals. The voices give the track its atmosphere, unfolding like fragments of a story above a steady, rolling pulse. As the arrangement develops, the vocal textures and synth layers draw the listener deeper into its world, balancing introspection with
movement on the dancefloor.

The Lexicon Avenue remix takes the track in a more percussive direction, revisiting tribal rhythm through a modern progressive lens. Rolling percussion and a driving low end lock into a hypnotic groove, while carefully layered synths build tension and scale. The track opens into an uplifting breakdown before the rhythm returns with renewed energy.

Lexicon Avenue bring decades of experience across progressive and deep house, combining detailed studio craft with a strong instinct for club momentum. Here, they give "Free to Ride" a fresh tribal character: organic in its rhythmic feel, progressive in its structure, and shaped for an expansive, hands-in-the-air moment.

Two complementary versions of "Free to Ride" that we are delighted to have on Forensic.

We hope you dig it as much as us. x
