Synymata releases his new debut album 'Metamorphosis,' an immersive journey of transformation landing on Lost In Dreams Records.

Midwest-grown producer Synymata returns to Lost In Dreams with his incredible debut album ‘Metamorphosis.’ The 11-track offering showcases his artistic growth and features collaborations alongside Monika Santucci, Nytrix, Elle Vee, Nina Sung, Lexi Scatena, VARI, Egzod, Josh Rubin, and the Arcturians. The album includes the lead singles “Used To Be Strong” and “Already Numb.”

Leading the project with an emotional opening, “Leave Me Waiting” is a heartfelt ballad drenched in a sense of longing. Led by Lexi Scatena’s gripping vocals, the lyrics center around the precariousness of a relationship that’s falling apart. Joining forces with Elle Vee comes the dark and destructive “Die Young.” The pensive lyrics move from grief and loss pointing to a desire to no longer be here. Vee’s delivery cuts at the heart, transposing the pain in her voice onto the listener’s soul. “Drifting” serves as a short but impactful interlude.

Creeping through the fog, “Fall Back To You” opens with a haunting beauty. Anchored by Nina Sung’s afflicted vocals, the track continues the theme of longing, reaching through the darkness to try to get back to that lost love. Marking a turning point in the album’s narrative, “When We’re Together” offers the first true slice of hope. It’s a reminder to push through the darkness in hopes of finding something better on the other side. Monika Santucci delivers a captivating vocal performance that explores the restorative power of new love. Reuniting with MmmCherry, the pair deliver one of the heaviest-hitting tracks on the LP. MmmCherry brings his indie-pop influence and intertwines it with Synymata’s signature melodic bass mastery but with a darker edge.

“Lightning In The Dark” is a stormy ballad chasing after the bright, distant flashes amid the darkness. Nytrix’s breathy vocals drift over ominous undertones and billowing bass that looms heavy on the horizon. Switching things up without losing any of the thematic consistency comes “Halcyon.” The instrumental-driven track allows Synymata’s production mastery to be put on full display. Serving as a truly exceptional conclusion, “Metamorphosis” pulls in VARI for a full-circle finale. Sampling vocals from every song on the album, the pair craft a masterful conclusion that encapsulates the entire journey into a nearly five-minute transformation of boundless bass music.
