The Ibiza day time pool party clubbing brand, Cuckoo Land, launches its brand new record label of the same name. The first release is from Amine Edge & DANCE which is also remixed by Illyus & Barrientos.

Cuckoo Land is the brainchild of Ibiza Rocks Hotel and also Electric Ibiza, who also run the highly successful Do Not Sleep Parties worldwide. The weekly summer pool parties held at Ibiza Rocks Hotel have been pushing the boundaries of daytime parties for the last 4 years with the ethos of bringing together free spirited people, in a wildly decorated setting where mindset and madness get to run free in an outrageous way, and all whilst listening to some of the very best in vocal house.

To launch the label, Cuckoo Land have two powerhouse duos in the form of Amine Edge & DANCE and Illyus & Barrientos.

CUFF records bosses, Amine Edge & DANCE, have had a long list of heavy hitting releases on renowned labels like Defected, Saved, Toolroom, SOLOTOKO and more. They provide the original mix, titled Higher, which is a classy house track utilising a looped up vocal of ‘Higher, You Make Me Wanna Go’ from the off building and building in a crescendo before the bassline drops making this a great party starter to get the floor more.

For a remix to launch the label the Cuckoo Land team brings in Scottish duo Illyus & Barrientos, who are well known from massive releases on Ultra, Toolroom & Defected since their first release on Glasgow Underground back in 2014. They’ve created stellar remixes for the likes of Purple Disco Machine, Noizu, Idris Elba, Armand Van Helden, Calvin Harris and many more and this remix is no different. They’ve used their excellent analogue sounding beats combining with a dirty bass sound, party sirens, and working the vocal into perfection this is a fantastic remix and definitely one for the dance floors around the world.
