Le Bon Jams - Spotlight

London-based four piece band Le Bon Jams release 'Spotlight' on May 14th, it's a second taste of their upcoming EP, following the release of single 'What U Need'. Speaking about the track, they say: "Spotlight" is kind of a mix of the club vibes from our earlier tracks, mixed with a fresh approach to our songwriting.  

Darker, weirder, more introverted. The party is still going, but it’s a lot later now! It’s all about that feeling when someone you’re into finally gives you their full attention - their spotlight, for the first time. We wanted the song to throw you off a bit right from the start, with those wonky chords that kind of make you feel dizzy. And when Laura sings about wanting a love that’s just out of reach, it feels really confessional - like she’s admitting something she probably shouldn’t, but can’t help putting out there.
