Steve Lee - Love & Happiness [Phonetic]

With Summer fast approaching, Phonetic proudly present their next release…a wonderful slice of Balearica.
As many of you will know, there is a long standing love and affiliation between the Phonetic label and Ibiza.
The label is responsible for an unprecedented Four Ibiza No.1 Records/Track of the Summer, as featured on Pete Tong’s Radio 1 Ibiza Weekend “Ibiza Buzz Chart” and DJ Ibiza Mag’s “Ibiza Hype Chart”. As well as a plethora of Ibiza Anthems every year since 2001, including live performances at the closing parties of We Love… Sundays @ Space, Manumission at Privilege and Platja den Bossa’s Bora Bora, with the productions going on to become big records across the world.

If there is anyone wo can deliver an emotive, feel good Balearic production that can be danced to whether your in an Ibiza Super-club, dancing around the pool at Pikes or half naked on Salina’s Beach…it is of course one of Ibiza’s favourite DJ’s; Mr Steve Lee.

Steve’s Clubland pedigree is something rather special, he was head of promotions at Paul Oakenfold’s Perfecto label, as a DJ he has been responsible for helping to create the soundtrack to many a Clubbers life, playing legendary House parties such as Boys Own, Spectrum, Future and The Wag. The resident DJ at London’s Turnmills & MOS. These days he can be found performing at the mighty Clockwork Orange, Printworks, Amnesia and Heaven to name a few, with his much talked about Radio show broadcast fortnightly on Mi-House Radio.

Steve’s productions on Phonetic have caused somewhat of a stir recently, ‘Bring The Drums’ hit No.4 on Beatport, featured in their October Shortlist & Best New House charts, and stuck around a pretty mind blowing 4 months in the Top 100. Steve’s ‘Music & Emotions’ production also featured high in Beatport’s chart for 10 weeks, with his ‘Get On This’ tune now with over 1 million Spotify streams. His productions have been championed by a who’s who of Tastemaker, Ibiza & Radio DJ.

Remix duties are courtesy of another one of our favourite DJ’s; Rob Gritton, who delivers a pumping Acid tinged re-work, perfect for those forward facing Festivals and Dancefloors.
