As summer rolls on and festivals are in full swing, Heavenly Recordings unveil two further stunning remixes of key tracks taken from the debut album by Joshua Idehen - 'I Know You’re Hurting, Everyone Is Hurting, Everyone Is Trying, You Have Got To Try.'
First up is Colleen 'Cosmo' Murphy's 'Cosmodelica' Remix of 'Everything Everywhere All At Once'.
The original track - taken from Joshua's phenomenal recent album - felt like a paranoid walk around the capital during Covid. Colleen Murphy's 'Cosmodelica' Remix parts the clouds that shrouded that version and brings the sunshine right in. A bassline that bounces through the middle of the track, an irresistible percussive rhythm, and Joshua's voice, just floating above it all. Play it loud, day or night - this is the sound of celebration, joy & happiness.
Secondly is Richard Sen's Remix of 'This Is The Place'.
A rattling rhythm track that sounds like a block party kicking off outside, a synth line that flips itself inside and out as it rolls on, and a vocal sample that sets the tone perfectly - Richard Sen's deconstruction of Joshua Idehen's 'This Is The Place' is the sound of a blissed out rhythm knocking at your door. Let it in!
Following on from playing festivals across Europe and the UK all summer, Joshua Idehen has another headline run in the UK throughout November.
Joshua Idehen - 'Everything Everywhere All At Once (Cosmodelica Remix)' will be released on the 18th of August via Heavenly Recordings.
