V/A - Utopia Part 1 feat. Ed Lopes, Nici Nice, Aidentique, Garsi - 3000Grad

Four golden paths to Utopia, to that promised land that is in reality a state of mind. All four of them lead across the dancefloor, all four of them lead across the horizon of everyday imagination, through sonic landscapes of alien beauty. Ed Lopes sends us on a zig-zagging altitude profile, opening up to ever new highs and magnificent vistas. Nicci Nice moves along with technoish stride, in the ambiguous light of dusk we glimpse monumental structures rising up on both sides of the path. With Aidentique we travel through a deep valley between majestic waterfalls of melody, from somewhere high up the slopes some enigmatic, ritualist singsang reaches our ears. Garsi opts for a different approach altogether, his steps casually follow the broken groove patterns of Electro.

Vier Königswege nach Utopia, in jenes gelobte Land, das eigentlich ein Geisteszustand ist. Alle vier führen sie über die Tanzfläche, über den Horizont der alltäglichen Vorstellungskraft hinaus, durch Klanglandschaften von andersweltlicher Schönheit. Ed Lopes führt uns auf einem im Zickzack-Kurs verlaufenden Höhenprofil zu immer neuen Höhenpunkten. Nicci Nice gibt ein technoides Marschtempo vor- im doppeldeutigen Licht vor dem Sonnenaufgang geht es vorbei an monumental Soundstrukturen. Mit Aidentique geht die Reise vorbei an majestätischen Melodie-Wasserfällen, von den Hängen rechts und links ertönt ritueller Singsang. Garsi wählt für die Reise nach Utopia eine ganz andere Gangart, denn hier folgen die lässigen Schritte einer deutlichen Spur von Electro.
