A.M.R - What The Funk EP

Get Physical Music welcomes Berlin-based artist A.M.R for a label debut with the two-track What The Funk EP, a direct and energetic release that pairs Indie Dance momentum with sharp vocal hooks and modern synth work.

Rooted in rhythm, atmosphere and movement, A.M.R’s sound moves between driving basslines, warm percussion and melodic detail. Based in Berlin, the project brings a contemporary approach to the House landscape while keeping the focus firmly on flow and dancefloor energy.

The title track, ‘What The Funk’, is a peak-time Indie Dance cut built around catchy vocal samples, crisp percussion and confident synth lines. Its fast-moving groove gives the track an immediate club pull, balancing cool tension with a punchy, high-energy feel.

On ‘123’, A.M.R keeps that momentum while shifting the rhythm into a more broken-beat direction. A Spanish vocal line cuts through the arrangement as layered synths and a propulsive groove push the track forward, adding a fresh, playful edge to the EP’s modern sound.

With What The Funk EP, A.M.R introduces a focused new voice to Get Physical Music, delivering two vibrant club tracks designed for movement and late-night energy. What The Funk EP is out on 6 November 2026 via Get Physical Music.
