Sam Redmore - El Camino

Sam Redmore dropped his sophomore album “Modulate” in 2024 and has continued to wow audiences with his energetic live band The Tropical Soundclash.

If you were lucky enough to catch them on their 2024 festival run you would have seen singer Ellie Coleman join the band to perform El Camino - a glorious slice of salsa mixed with house and broken beat and sung in Spanish. A song for global dancefloors to celebrate the start of summer.

Ellie tells us: “El Camino is about independence. Solitude isn’t emptiness: it’s possibility. A soundtrack for those who find rhythm in their own footsteps. It celebrates the late-night wanderers who embrace the magic of their own company and the beat beneath their feet as they stride through the dark”.

Known first and foremost as a DJ and a producer of killer edits, Sam started out building a huge online following for his edits and remixes before dropping his debut album ‘Universal Vibrations’ in 2022 to joyous acclaim (Jazz FM album of the week) and heavy national airplay (more than 100 plays for “Nagu” alone on BBC 6 Music).

2024 saw the release of follow up album ‘Modulate’, which featured collaborations with internationally renowned artists including Dele Sosimi and Abdominal, as well as this single (on the vinyl LP version) and received more exceptional support across the board.

After a crazy live band touring schedule in 2024, Sam has picked up his residencies behind the turntables again in 2025 and has a string of guest DJ slots around a series of carefully picked live band dates.
