Freestyle Man - Spazzo
Freestyle Man returns with 'Spazzo', the first single taken from his forthcoming album Vorbeiflug.
The original version moves at a deliberately slow pace, locking into a deep electro groove driven by acidic synth lines, stripped-back machine funk and a heavy late-night pulse. Raw, hypnotic and unhurried, 'Spazzo' sits somewhere between electro, acid and leftfield machine music—built as much for deep listening as for the darker corners of the dancefloor.
On the flip, the Ambient Mix takes the track into more spacious territory, dissolving the rhythmic framework and allowing its textures, tones and atmosphere to drift freely.

Freestyle Man has been a staple in house circles since the mid 90s with his releases and remixes on labels like PUU/Sähkö, Studio Barnhus, Moodmusic and Mule Musiq. After discovering a massive amount of DAT tapes in his basement in late 2020, he went on a journey to transfer his early recordings from 1992 until 1997.
While finding classic releases on the tapes, there was a myriad of forgotten, unreleased material from his early days, which after 30+ years, still sounds fresh as ever.
This is why Freestyle Man Records was born. The aim is not to re-release, but to release unheard music from the vaults of this prolific producer‘s long-standing career.
