Indonesian house innovator OOTORO delivers his boldest statement yet with the ‘CULT CHROME’ EP, set to drop on December 13 via NIGHTMODE. A master at blending bassline, disco, UK garage, and tech house, OOTORO presents five tracks that bridge his bass-heavy roots with a future-facing sound.

At the heart of the collection is “Control,” a cinematic bassline gem that unfolds with a moody intro, warped vocal hooks, and pulsating basslines interlaced with shimmering synth stabs, glitchy textures, and breakbeat-inspired rhythms. Choral harmonies and sleek hip-hop influences elevate the track, resulting in a captivating blend of intricate sound design and dancefloor energy. Rambo” layers deep tech textures over hypnotic grooves, while “40 Degrees,” a collaboration with Matsu, closes the EP with a bouncy, club-ready anthem that pushes OOTORO’s sonic boundaries.
