Houston (UK) - The System
Houston closes out a breakthrough year with The System EP, marking his debut on Moom Sound.
Spanning different corners of house music, the EP isn’t built around a single sound. Instead, it captures Houston’s approach to the genre, drawing from a range of subgenres while continuing to develop a sound of his own.
After more than a decade in the studio, 2026 marks the year Houston began releasing music in earnest. A VA appearance on Origins, a remix for Josh Butler, work for Aanghel, and a standout remix for Andrew Macari on Moom have all paved the way for The System EP.
Influenced by the deeper, atmospheric sounds of Julius Strieder, Gorge and Nick Curly, alongside the groove-driven styles of Josh Butler, Chesster and Ruze, Houston brings these influences together through his own distinctive approach to house music.
With a strong catalogue of finished music ready to go, The System EP marks another step forward, setting the stage for what looks to be a defining 2027.
