Dimitri Vegas enlists the help of Basswell, The Moon, Robert Armani and DJ Ghost to create a whirlwind of a track in ‘Blow Up The Speakers vs. Hard One’ - this winter, exclusively on BSMNT!

Taking aspects of influence from around the globe, this star-studded team of producers and musical minds work together in perfect harmony to create a euphoric, exhilarating and mainstage ready big room techno track, perfect for any headline set across the atlas. Originally released by The Moon and DJ Ghost back in 2000, ‘Blow Up The Speakers’ quickly became an iconic hard dance track in the space and went on to lead the way for similar producers thereafter. The Moon recently modernised the track, enlisting producer MANDY to give the track a facelift with 2023’s ‘Blow Up The Speakers (Again)’. Now, its Smash The House boss Dimitri Vegas’ turn to give his rendition on a classic.

Dimitri Vegas is a name that needs no introduction at this point, Smash The House label boss, Tomorrowland mainstay, movie star and worldwide touring music producer has been at the very top if the industry for some time now. Fresh off his vinyl-only set at this years Tomorrowland, Vegas continues to reinvent himself and his sound with each passing year, enabling him to stay at the top of the game.

Basswell brings his hardcore energy to the party in a big way, introducing acidic and squelchy 303 hits with backing from thumping kicks and distorted vocals. Basswell is no stranger to the limelight, releasing on labels like Exhale, Revealed and many more, the French selector is a respected voice within the hard dance scene and hence his placement next to Dimitri on this huge track.

Robert Armani provides classic Chicago acid flavours to the track, taking influence from his early career in the 90’s Chicago, learning from the forefathers of this scene and implementing the golden rules to this day. Originally lauded for his harder strain of acid music from that era, Armani carved his own lane thru the industry and has managed to remain as innovative as back then.
