Buunshin – Agility [Bassrush Records]

Buunshin debuts on Bassrush Records with his new single, a tension-wrapped, genre-blurring drum & bass offering titled "Agility."

Based in Rotterdam, Buunshin is a producer of Indonesian descent whose moniker represents a person's other self, a concept he embodies through an ever-evolving sound that contests any semblance of an established identity. His sound design and level of detail are unparalleled, resulting in a genre-defying approach to drum & bass that is consistently ahead of the curve. He's debuting on Bassrush Records with his new single.

"Agility" is an air-bending drum & bass track demonstrating his control over space and tension. It creeps in with a dystopian cinematic crescendo, gradually climbing through breathwork narration, discordant oscillating textures, and futuristic, symphonic melodies. The main motif lunges erratically into a chain reaction fueled by sharp percussive swings, aggressive neuro drills, hollow synth hits, and gritty sub-bass guaranteed to cause a cortisol spike in the best way imaginable.
