Philipp Jung - Slow

Costa Rica based house mainstay Philipp Jung became one of the scene's most notable acts as one-half of M.A.N.D.Y., while he also co-founded Get Physical Music and Kindisch. Over the years, his music has covered many niches, from dark and tech-leaning to more sunny and uplifting, while M.A.N.D.Y. Vs. Booka Shade's 'Body Language' is an evergreen house hit.

For his next release, Jung taps into a different side with a unique cover version of Kylie Minogue's classic 'Slow', which is taken from her ninth studio album, Body Language, back in 2003. In Jung's hands, the iconic original vocals get heavily filtered and twisted into a darker, more menacing tone. Jangling chords keep things full of suspense, while elastic mid-tempo drums encourage dancers to cut loose as the tension builds and the chords get ever brighter.
