OCLUM - Tenebris EP, incl. Pedro Mercado Remix

After nearly a year Oclum is back again on Chrom. The DJ/Producer from Malaga, Spain, made his Chrom debut in 2020 and is becoming more and more a Chrom mainstay. Just like last time he presents us 3 equally outstanding Originals. The title track "Tenebris" is classic Oclum: captivating Melodic Techno with a subtle yet mesmerizing vocal. The second track "Dream State", as the name suggests, takes a more atmospheric approach, drawing listeners in with its ethereal soundscape. Keep an ear out for the cleverly used vocal after the break, it just might sound familiar. Rounding out the trio is "Time Dilation" which is a bit different, leaning towards a more hypnotic Techno vibe. As a special treat our label manager Pedro Mercado decided to add a remix of this 3rd track. On fire after his recent album release with Karada, Pedro delivers his first Chrom solo remix of 2025 transforming the original with his signature epic Progressive House twist!

Founded by Mike Chrom in 2014, Planet Ibiza stands as a trailblazer in the electronic music realm. In 2017 Planet Ibiza launched its first official record label. During the Ibiza summer of 2016 Mike Chrom and Pedro Mercado, at that time the main resident-DJ of Planet Ibiza, came up with the idea to finally also start their own label according to their common musical philosophy, Both label founders have together more than 40 years of experience in the global electronic music scene

During the Ibiza summer of 2016 they decided to start up their own label and so Chrom Recordings was born to build a quality platform & home base for like-minded passionate artists from all over the world who fit the Ibiza Spirit of the label. Both new promising talents ànd established known artists from all over the world with the same music taste are more than welcome to the label. Chrom focuses on quality electronic music going from Progressive House & Indie Dance to Melodic House & Techno.

In 2021 Mike & Pedro founded their second label: Planet Ibiza Music to cover the other spectrum of their music taste: Organic House, Afro House, Deep Progressive & Melodic House. In a few years time both Chrom Recordings and Planet Ibiza Music have grown into a very credible label & successful brand with great artists, many followers & important industry support, and with regular appearances in the Beatport Features & Charts. They represent and connect people & artists from all over the world by hosting world wide label showcases.
