Next comes “Lightswitch,” originally drafted by The Big Samba and completely reimagined into a festival-ready bomb. Built on deceptively simple progressions, the track is layered with intricate details and anchored by a growling Moog Subsequent 37 bassline. It builds with suspense and peaks with a guttural drop that’s unmistakably Bass Odyssey—raw, bold, and made for big moments.

The EP closes with “Illusions,” a dream collaboration with Household Funk. Born from a loop crafted on a Roland MC-707 and Microkorg, the track unfolds into a massive late-night arrangement. It balances dark energy with sonic finesse, capturing the hypnotic essence of Afro tech while maintaining a cinematic depth.
