Renaissance welcomes another label-family debut! Vicky Montefusco joins the fold with his single ‘Prosopopea’, which traverses a diverse sonic range that includes breaks and 4/4, alongside a creative house rework from Auggië. The 3 track blinder is a great introduction to his well known indie/techno grooves.

The Italian DJ and producer has previously had releases on Internasjonal, Ilinx and Space Factory and has been supported by a diamond-plated roster of the uber-cool: Maceo Plex, Troy Pierce, Ivan Smagghe, Jesper Dahlback, Man Power, Coyu and Curses are just some of the names who’ve jumped on board.

Founded on a central riff, both of Vicky’s versions are the perfect balance of what a melodic track should be in 2024; never a million miles from his Italo-disco heritage, they further prove the timeless quality at the heart of all the best electronic records. Auggië’s take, although very different, isn't far away in its ethos either, though his version looks across the Atlantic to Detroit, with an edgy house vibe that balances warmth and power in equal measure.
