Warmduscher - Yakuza
London’s genre-defying provocateurs Warmduscher return with a powerful new single,'Yakuza', released via Strap Originals. A visceral slice of sleaze-funk swagger, the track showcases the band’s signature blend of grit, groove, and chaos — a sound that has made them one of the UK’s most electrifying live acts.
Originally written during sessions for their acclaimed album Too Cold To Hold, released on 15th November 2024, the track stood out immediately, calling for a life of its own.
The track is accompanied by a two explosive remixes from trusted collaborators, Sworn Virgins, who twist the original into a wild, late-night dancefloor meltdown— pure punk-funk excess and David Holmes, who said about his remix: "It was a joy to remix this track. I love Warmduscher and all their incarnations—Decius, Sworn Virgins, Paranoid London."
Clams of Warmduscher added: 'Yakuza’ just had this sleazy, cinematic vibe that didn’t quite fit on the album—but we knew it had to live. When David Holmes jumped on the remix, the whole vision locked into place."
Finally, to mark the release, Warmduscher embark on a massive international tour, hitting Europe, the UK, and the United States this September—bringing their notoriously unhinged live energy to fans around the world.
Warmduscher - Yakuza (David Holmes / Sworn Virgins Remixes) is released on July the 30th via Strap Originals.
