Lewis Capaldi - Bloom EP

It takes little to no time at all to realise what kind of proposition you’re dealing with when you hear a Lewis Capaldi song, and only now is he finally bringing his heart-breaking sound to tour in the UK, but those dates are all unfortunately sold out. Fear not, however, as new dates have been to the calendar in time for Christmas, along with the news of his debut EP Bloom being released on October 20th where he’ll be playing each of the EP tracks live.

“I’m over the moon to be finally putting out a full EP” explains Capaldi, continuing “It’s a collection of songs that captures the last year of my life, and features songs I recorded in London, New York and Los Angeles.  Songs Fade & Mercy were recorded only a few months ago so they’re almost as fresh to me as anybody else listening.”

With around a month to go until you can hear the full recordings live you have to stop to think how fast things are happening for a kid of 21 from Bathgate, Scotland.  It was only a year ago he left college & wrote Bruises, one of the most impactful debut singles of 2017. Since then he’s sold out two London shows & in Glasgow, the closest city to his hometown, he’ll play the 600-cap show at  St Luke’s.
