Red Room - Barbie's Warp
Imagine the nostalgia of cranking up the CRT, dusting off your GameCube controller, and loading into a reminiscent console daydream. That’s exactly where Red Room takes you with ‘Barbie's Warp’, a turbo-charged throwback blending old-school UKG, Speed Garage, and the soundtracks that defined the 90’s/2000’s gaming era. From b2b Tekken battles to midnight Daytona races, ‘Barbie’s Warp’, is every bit as bold, fast, and larger-than-life as the energy of those unforgettable after-school hangs that get the heart racing.
Red Room’s latest, and debut release on TUFF TiMES serves up pure dancefloor adrenaline, and it’s as wild as it sounds. Supported by heavy-hitters like Wax Thief and previously hyped by Osmosis Jones and IsGwan, ‘Barbie’s Warp’ is already catching ears across the scene. Recent stage stops, including Chinese Laundry, Daydreaming Newcastle - supporting Club Angel, and Drifters Wharf (supporting Little Fritter), have primed Red Room as an unmissable force on the rise.
About the track, Red Room says, “This is the fastest track I’ve made, created for when the dance floor energy is at its absolute peak and you need to bring it to a climax. Absolute in-ya-face warper that takes a lot of old techno face-melter tropes in a speedy G context. I wanted it to be a big wall of sound that you really feel in your chest in a club/festival setting.”
Lock in for Barbie's Warp – a sonic adventure meant to warp its way to the center of any high-energy set.
