Music For Dreams
Arto - Eu To Bém
Arto brings the sunshine on new Latin folk-pop gem ‘Eu To Bem’
The single comes from the new solo project by Danish producer, singer and multi-instrumentalist Arto Louis Eriksen, described as a freewheeling mix of Latin and Caribbean folk sounds.
The song is written, produced and performed (+ sung in Portuguese) by Arto himself. He describes it as
“expressing the feeling of being at total ease with the world and just having a good time. You’ve just come out the shower, put on the nice perfume and so has your date. You’re feeling good, you go out and dance samba all night.”
About the making of the album, Arto says:
“The album was conceived during a two-week long high where everything felt open and possible.
I didn’t know exactly what I was doing, but I was following a feeling. I was filled with an ecstatic gratitude for life and wanted to make music that could lift everything and everyone.
Highlife, Samba and Calypso were swirling around in my head so the album became a mix of those vibes, created in a state of pure happiness and surrender.”
The album is titled Qué Vida Feliz and will be released June 19 on Music For Dreams.
When Arto is not absorbed in quasi-spiritual genre-experimentations, he is producing songs for some of Denmark’s biggest pop names: Tobias Rahim, Andreas Odbjerg, Drew Sycamore, Gilli, Icekiid, Bbybites and Burhan G. Arto has previously released music under the moniker Yo Johnny.
