David Forbes – 1994 [Dreamstate Records]

Seasoned veteran David Forbes releases his new single "1994," an ode to classic Belgian techno and trance, arriving by way of Dreamstate Records.

Hailing from Scotland, David Forbes has become a boundless trance producer with a robust catalog approaching three decades. He's returning to Dreamstate Records with his sophomore single, which finds him throwing it back to the '90s with a track that mines influences from Belgian techno. Aptly titled "1994," the hard, driving number encapsulates the era with its starfalling tones, foghorn shots, and trancey rave melodies that create a slowburn towards a thunderous hard techno climax.

The track follows his label debut "Air Raid" in June, which drew radio support from Allen Watts, MaRLo, Maarten De Jong, JES, Davey Asprey, Marcell Stone, Corti Organ, and many more. He is looking forward to high-profile gigs at ASOT Rotterdam, Tranceformations Poland, EDC Mexico.
