Gerry Gonza - You Could Be The One

** Radio Embargo Until October 9th / Club Play Only **

When I was 11 years old, a fortune teller told me something that would change the course of my life forever. She took my hand, closed her eyes.....went completely silent..... and then whispered:

“You could be the one.”

Holy shit. THE ONE?????

For years I wondered what she meant. Was I destined to save humanity? Would I discover a new planet? Was I some kind of chosen warrior?

I trained, I studied, I meditated, I waited…. Nothing.

Years later, I finally tracked the fortune teller down.

“Excuse me,” I said. “Years ago you told me I could be THE ONE.”

She stared blankly.

“The chosen one?”

Nothing.

“Destined for greatness?”

Still nothing.

Then suddenly her face lit up.

“Ohhhhhhhhh..... YOU!... I remember you… I was running a competition. You could've been the one to win a $50 meat tray.”

Ma bad..... So apparently I had dedicated most of my adult life to a meat raffle.

But sometimes the prophecy is wrong..... and sometimes THE ONE eventually turns up anyway… Because GERRY GONZA has walked into CLUB SWEAT HQ with YOU COULD BE THE ONE. Was it written in the stars? Was it fate? Was it destiny? Who can really say….

All we know is YOU COULD BE THE ONE.... is now one of ours.

GERRY GONZA. Back home at CLUB SWEAT. Where he belongs……

And we down wit dat.

Much love,

Team Sweat
