Vibrvnt – Work [Discovery Project Records]

Vibrvnt punches in with his heady dubstep single "Work," a wonky bass track serving as his debut appearance for Discovery Project Record.

Hailing from Redondo Beach, Vibrvnt is a producer from Southern California humming at his own frequency, focusing on extracting the funky, soulful and feel-good color from bass music. He's debuting on Insomniac's Discovery Project label with his new single. "Work" is a deep dubstep track signifying a creative shift to heavier vibes geared towards live performance environments. He employs thick, wonky sub-bass synth lines that gurgle and snarl above snappy drum patterns, hazy atmospherics, rumbling low-end, and a mixed bag of vocal chops, striking a hypnotic yet mood-boosting balance.

The track won the Discovery Project DJ/producer competition hosted for Beyond Wonderland at the Gorge, chosen by guest judge INZO. It earned him a set at the festival and a single release on the label. Vibrvnt has been making big moves in the last few years, releasing music on labels run by Ganja White Night, CloZee, LSDREAM.
