Renaissance launch a brand new label - BAU_HAUS
New year, new beginnings and all that; so, what better time to launch a new imprint? In response to a deluge of amazing music hammering the doors of Renaissance Towers, and the opportunity to offer an outlet for emerging talent or more experimental sounds, the respected brand has created BAU_HAUS.
“We wanted a name that tied to Renaissance,” explains CEO Geoff Oakes, “and hit upon BAU_HAUS because it was a cultural movement with strong ties to a very specific artistic look, albeit a lot more contemporary than Renaissance, which only served as a better conceptual fit. Plus, it provided an opportunity for that play on words.”
