Maccabi House proudly presents “Start The Party”. A fresh, imaginative collaboration between longtime friends Darco and Asaf Samuel born from jazz roots, spontaneous bets, and the unmistakable spirit of New York City.

It all started with a moment outside a neighborhood bar, Darco and Asaf en route to a studio session heard a familiar jazz tune playing from below. A playful bet over the song's identity quickly turned into a lighthearted challenge: “Let’s start the remix right now.” The result? A deep, genre-bending groove that pays homage to a jazz classic while forging something entirely new.

As a saxophonist, Darco has always felt a deep connection to jazz, and this track is his way of reinterpreting a legendary piece with a modern twist. To capture the essence of the original, they brought in their close friend Alexander Levin, fresh off a return from NYC, to lay down authentic saxophone lines. From there, the duo dove into production with a creative twist: layering in real-world textures
from the hustle of New York’s streets to the rhythmic click of heels on pavement. These sonic details give the track its signature personality and immersive energy.

“Start The Party” is a celebration of spontaneity, friendship, and musical curiosity where classic meets contemporary, and jazz finds its place on the dance floor.
