David Penn, KPD - Ain't Got No (Club Mix)

Ain't gonna lie, I'm writing this cheeky little shpeel from a pretty nice villa in Ibiza but when I hear the first line from DAVID PENN & KPD'S 2024 club bump up re-rub re chunk re pump fatten up club version of their massive hit AIN'T GOT NO aka "Ain't got no home" I'm reminded of the first time I came to Ibiza.

It was the summer of (well...it was a while ago) but anyways..... I was staying in Mallorca at a friend of my mum's house and realising that the magical white isle was but a small boat ride away, my 20 year old broke self had no option but to go there.....but as I was broke,... I decided that rather than get a hotel, I'd just go clubbing - sleep on the beach - then go clubbing again - then get the boat back to a shower and a bed in Mallorca....it was very true - I had no home...but I had the best time ever (for another day) but there was one thing missing which I did not know I needed but with the advantage of hindsight i can now say for sure.... I needed this 2024 club mix of AIN'T GO NO.

I mean - it's got all the magic of the original - but its made for the club so it's just a bit more bumped up - and when the club is your home and the speakers your pillows and the bar your bed...you want the music to be good.

And even now with the benefit of a bed.....music is everything. Thank you David and KPD for providing the mix that my former self didn't know I needed and also the mix that my current self knows that your current and future self need.
