FunkT!de - ON MY SIDE - SUNCTURE

The SUNCTURE regular returns with a new release on Sunora’s imprint, following a run of productions that move between house, disco and funk with a distinctly individual touch.

FunkT!de returns to SUNCTURE with ‘On My Side’, the producer’s latest single on the label founded by Sunora. Following the offbeat character of ‘Insane Plan’, the new release continues a run of productions that showcase FunkT!de’s instinct for musical detail, groove and a playful approach to contemporary house.

Across his catalogue, FunkT!de has built a sound that refuses to sit neatly within a single lane. Drawing influences from disco, funk and vocal-led house, his productions balance a clear dancefloor focus with a willingness to explore unexpected ideas, giving each release its own personality. ‘On My Side’ marks the next instalment in that evolving story, bringing the producer back to a label that has become a key home for his music.

The relationship between FunkT!de and SUNCTURE dates back to the imprint’s launch earlier this year, when he joined forces with Sunora on Echoes of Light, the three-track EP that opened the label’s catalogue. Since then, releases including ‘Burning’, ‘Hold It Right There’, ‘Disco Voices’ with Sunora, ‘Locelafalit’ and ‘Insane Plan’ have further established his presence on the imprint, each contributing to a catalogue shaped by musical curiosity rather than a fixed stylistic formula.

With ‘On My Side’, FunkT!de continues that creative relationship, reinforcing his position as one of the label’s recurring artists while adding another release to an increasingly diverse body of work.

Founded by Sunora, the duo of Chertkovski and Alar, SUNCTURE was created as a platform for groove-led, emotionally resonant electronic music. Since its launch earlier this year, the label has developed a growing catalogue spanning melodic house, indie dance and groove-focused productions, with releases from Sunora, FunkT!de and resident artist Kapir.

Beyond its music, SUNCTURE is steadily building a wider platform through its monthly SUNCTURE HOUR residency on Ibiza Global Radio and a programme of curated events, including its first-ever ZUMANA party, RITUAL OF THE SUN, in Bali. Together, these developments reflect the label’s ambition to connect its music with a wider community of artists and listeners.

As SUNCTURE continues to expand, FunkT!de remains an integral part of its story. ‘On My Side’ sees the producer return to familiar territory while continuing to shape a catalogue defined by individuality, musicality and a strong sense of groove.
