LA-based producer Monic is breaking through by blending crossover songwriting with invigorating dancefloor energy, materializing melody-fueled tracks across the dance pop spectrum. Pittsburgh-based producer GONE ASTRAY is forging his own direction in dance music with an emotion-driven sound mixing impassioned lyrics with feel-good melodies and heavy bass energy. They are releasing their new single on Lost In Dreams Records, leading up to Monic's forthcoming EP on the label.

"Meant To Be" is a dance pop song hitting the sweet spot between their distinct sounds. The song mines from the massive radio-friendly future bass era, with wistful piano chords and sparkly atmospherics leading up to heartbursting drops colored by wailing music-box riffs, aqueous synth plucks, and fuzzy sawtooth progressions. Its topline is delicate and mellifluous, with vocoded gang harmonies emphasizing the theme: an incompatible relationship masquerading as a one-in-a-million romance. It follows their previous collab "Say That You're Mine" last year.
