Sol Selectas
Summer Sol XI
Sol Selectas’ annual sunshine compilation returns with Volume XI on the horizon. This season we present 27 musical stories of summer, taking listeners on a frequency vacation from crystal clear beaches and tropical rainforests to desert Bedouin camps.
We welcome nineteen artists making their debut on Sol Selectas, alongside a host of seasoned veterans including Mark Alow, Giovanny Aparicio, A X L, Hot Oasis, Matur, Sabo, and more. A truly international cast of dreamers is represented, with artists hailing from Turkey, Spain, United States, Egypt, United Kingdom, Morocco, Colombia, Brazil, Tunisia, UAE, Estonia, Russia, Netherlands, Mexico, Iran, Poland, India, Greece, Indonesia, Germany, and Israel. Together, this borderless ensemble of artists collectively tell their tale.
From the first track to the last, the journey unfolds gradually, stamping your genre passport along the way with downtempo, organic house, afro house, indie dance, and eastern influences. The energy rises and harmoniously reaches its climax, before gently guiding you back down, like a warm hug from the sun.
The artwork by Helia Jamali circumnavigates this solar dream world of sound, drifting with intention, and following the current of positivity.
