EGR's underground resistance is back on the frontlines with a new set of its beloved Revelations series, another incisive manifesto comprised of a three-track suite by label stalwarts Freedo Mosho, Futura City, Moss, Prototype, and Maximo Gambini.
On our first entry, the sensational duo of Freedo Mosho and Futura City come together to rewrite Maximo Gambini's 1996 as they venture into pure progressive terrains with a menagerie of synthetic pulses and low-end stabs for a heady outing designed for the mischievous.
Upping the hypnotic effect, Prototype steps forth with his shifting mirage, Terraformation. A whirring contraption inspired by downpours, growling undercurrents drift beneath intricate hi-hat work as melodic fragments hover and dissolve, drawing narcotic patterns at every turn.
For our last epiphany, Freedo Mosho and Futura City link up with Moss for a sultry delivery. Standing on the shoulders of an irresistible groove, our trio navigates hazy passageways under the shade of lush chords and blossoming atmospheres as they come alive at the edge of dusk.
