Melon Blush, ZXNX - SMAK! EP - Not Another Music

SMAK! is a two-track EP born from the uncompromising creative vision of Brazilian artists Melon Blush and ZXNX, two producers who have never felt constrained by genres, trends, or musical boundaries.

The opening track, Dirtyzona, started with a simple WhatsApp voice message sent by ZXNX to Melon Blush. What followed was a spontaneous studio experiment that evolved into a powerful breakbeat-driven cut, combining raw electro energy, distorted grooves, and infectious rhythms designed for peak-time dancefloors.

The title track, SMAK!, dives deeper into the duo's shared obsession with synthesis and sonic exploration. Built through countless hours of tweaking, shaping, and pushing synthesizers beyond their intended limits, the track unfolds like a synthetic orchestra-emotional, energetic, and constantly evolving. Every element was carefully sculpted to create movement, tension, and release without relying on convention.

The EP captures the chemistry between two artists connected by a genuine love for club culture and dancefloor experiences. That connection was perhaps best demonstrated in 2025, when Melon Blush and ZXNX played a marathon 9-hour-and-30-minute back-to-back set in São Paulo, a journey through styles, moods, and tempos that reflects the same spirit found throughout this release.
