Formerly known as DJ-K and a veteran behind the decks K69 started his journey back in 1991 when he was entranced by rave culture and the varied music it brought with it. By 1994 he had his first residency in a local club as well as guest slots at Es Paradis and various Ibiza bars. 1996 was the year things took off. After winning Muzik Magazine's "Bedroom Bedlam" mix of the month he became a regular on the UK Club scene playing the likes of Gatecrasher, Progress, Sundissential, The Ministry of sound and The Red Box (Dublin) on a regular basis and was crowned Muzik Magazine / Radio 1 Bedroom Bedlam DJ of the year by Judge Jules in 1997 pipping Yousef to the title. With a DJ Career playing some of the biggest clubs and festivals including Privelage-Ibiza, Exit Festival-Serbia, Shadow Lounge Miami, The Limelight-New York he continues to play an active part in the UK and European music scene.
In 2017 with a head full of of ideas K69 went into the studio with Ian Bland of Dream Frequency / Dancing Divaz. The intention was to release a couple of tracks. 30+ tracks later and a regular in both the Beatport and Traxsource charts with releases on the mighty Whore House, Vamos music, Electroscene, Zulu records and Dirty Music to name a few he's still going. His collaboration remix with Dancing Divaz of the Victor Simonelli produced Groove Committee - Dirty Games finished the year in the Top 150 Traxsource tracks of the year and was a popular go to by Sam Divine on her Defected podcast. Whore House's 300th release was K69's -Let yourself go and became his biggest selling track to date staying in the Beatport chart for 60+ days and reaching No.17.
Joining forces with legendary producer Ian Bland, Sublime Recordings was launched in August 2018 to release music with the aim of pushing musical boundaries and providing a platform for great music to be heard, Already with a great track record in the Traxsource and Beatport charts 2019 will see K69 continue to release tracks influenced by many years of electronic music and take Sublime to the next level.
