Witty Tunes shines a spotlight on Romania's flourishing house music scene with the Ecstasy EP, introducing two of the country's most exciting emerging producers, Sasha Pavel and OXY.

The release is led by “Ecstasy,” a captivating collaboration featuring the unmistakable vocals of KATARINA, whose music has accumulated tens of millions of streams across digital platforms. Blending irresistible vocal hooks with rolling grooves, elegant melodies, and infectious club energy, the track perfectly balances musical sophistication with peak-time dancefloor appeal.

Originally trained as a classical pianist, Sasha Pavel brings a unique musical perspective to his productions. His background is reflected in the rich harmonic textures and refined melodic touches that subtly elevate his modern tech house sound. Joining him is OXY, a key resident at NOOK Club in Bucharest—one of Romania's premier underground venues and home to several Witty Tunes showcases. OXY is already familiar to the label's audience, having previously featured on the Witty Tunes Miami Music Week Compilation.

Completing the package is “Seems Like,” where Sasha Pavel and OXY explore a deeper, groove-led direction. Built around hypnotic rhythms, warm basslines, and understated underground aesthetics, the track offers a versatile late-night weapon designed for discerning selectors.

With the Ecstasy EP, Witty Tunes continues to champion the next generation of European talent, delivering a release that combines musicality, club functionality, and the unmistakable energy of Romania's rapidly growing underground scene.
