Breez – XTC [Discovery Project Records]

Breez rushes into the frame with his new single "XTC," a high-energy electro-fueled house track, serving as his debut appearance on Discovery Project Records.

Born and raised in Miami, Breez is an up-and-coming producer proudly pouring his Brazilian and Chilean heritage across a diverse mix of dance tracks ranging from weighty Latin tech rollers to feel-good crossover records. He's debuting on Insomniac's Discovery Project label with his new single.

"XTC" is a bass-fueled house track demonstrating the club-ready side of his dynamic sound. Tethered to a plummy baritone vocal hook, the resonating refrain loops continuously in a brain-zapping fashion as the full-bodied groove peaks nonstop across shuffling drums, rattling distortion saw leads, dizzying risers, electrical buzzing tones, and wonky textures worked in graciously. Guest judge Wuki selected the track as the winning submission for the Discovery Project DJ/producer competition hosted at Countdown NYE. It earned him a performance slot at the festival and a single on the label.
